I dont understand how you can sell something like this when it crashes. Where do I get my money back?

You have to pay twice, for the app and the voice. DONT PAY FOR THIS

This app took my money, but would not translate Japanese into English. Each time I checked Japanese, the app chained the heading to Vietnamese. Not only is it bad, it should be deleted from this app store. Have several translation apps. None are this bad.

iOS 4 on iPhone 4. Use every day to help communicate with my girlfriend. English to Chinese and pinyin to English. Works great. Thanks. Its helping her learn English and me Mandarin.

Update 11/19: these bugs still arent fixed, so the app is useless. Demoting to 1 star. Whats up with the massive font sizes? Even the option for "small" is so big that one word doesnt even fit the screen! There should be an option to keep the font size normal. Also, when Im on a 2g network, half the time it simply wont translate. This makes no sense. iTranslate does a much better job.

Great app but having difficulties getting the phonetic pronunciation purchase to work. If Yuan Tian reads these reviews this is something I cant seem to figure out and have purchased it multiple times. Please post reply here to how this feature works or how to get in touch with you directly. Thanks!

Unless you want to pay even more to hear the translation, STICK TO The FREE VERSION!!! This is a rip off!

I bought this because Korean was listed as one of the languages but after purchasing I found it is not one of the voice applications. Any suggestions?

Purchased this and a $1.99 voice, which I thought was ok. I have seen more expensive versions. The main reason I bought this was that the free version stated it needed to be connected to a network, but that the pro version did not. Obviously that is not the case. I dont want to go to Germany and pay a fortune just to use the network to translate.

I wanted to be able to hear the pronunciation since I had already bought the voice in another app from this company. It gave me the choice to buy this app so I clicked buy and nothing. So I went to the app store to verify I had bought this app, but it seemed it did not work. So I clicked "buy" again. The app turned out not to be what I expected. Then I go to my "balance" and they charged me twice on the same app!!!

Compre la voz de Dave y obligado la App ( antes gratis..). NUNCA ha funcionado 2 veces seguidas, nunca han respondido mis email de problema. 4$, a la BASURA!!. Buy Daves voice and forced the App (free before ..). NEVER has worked 2 times in a row, have never answered my email problem. $ 4,in the GARBAGE!!.

I was looking forward to this app. I had the free version but wanted to hear the pronunciation of words and phrases and I just upgraded to the $1.99 version. However, I just found out that if I want to hear translations I still have to pay $1.99 for each language that I want to hear. What is the point of having this paid app when the free version does basically the same thing?! I feel as I have been ripped off. It doesnt even mention in the apps description that you are required to purchase the sounds for each language. Talk about false advertising! There should be a law that forbids makers of apps from doing this. How sad that Apple supports this. Update - This app has become even worse. It seems to no longer support Google despite what the description of the app says. Even worse, it has removed languages such as Catalan and Galician. The problem is that I paid for the voice of those languages but they are no longer on my app. You should be able to keep the languages that you pay for. Shame on the developer of this app for the shoddy way it treats their customers!

I used to like this app, then all of a sudden it stopped translating.fix the effing thing!!!!!!!!!

A waste of money! I just bought it and t doesnt even translate anything. DONT BUY IT!!!!!!

Here is what buyers need to know: The App says it does phonetic translation of 17 languages. What it actually does is incorrectly in most cases or very poorly in others transliterate (change Non-English characters into their English counterpart) it doesnt pronounce them. To get any pronunciation at all you have to buy the language specific voice add-ons at $1.99 each. And as for translation the app uses Bing and Google online engines. Not the translation gem I was hoping for, in fact couldnt be a lot further from it.

I wasted $6 on this. $2 each for the app and two voices. The audio doesnt work and there is no help for the app. Dont waste your time and ill consider my $6 a public service
